DPW is responding to a water main break on Main Street between High Street and Grove Street.

The project seeks to address chronic road wash outs that create financial stress to the Town, impair the water quality of the Crosby Brook, and create localized flooding. 

Vehicles parked in the downtown lots must be removed or they may be towed at the owner’s expense.

The traffic lights on lower Main Street at the intersections with Canal Street and Vernon Street are not cycling properly, and repairs are anticipated on March 9.

On Feb. 26 at 2156 hours, the Brattleboro Fire Department was dispatched to 448 Halladay Brook Road for a reported chimney fire with extension into the residence.
